St. Charles Community College is pleased to announce the appointment of Dustin Wengert as the new Athletic Director.  Mr. Wengert brings extensive experience in athletic administration, a strong record of leadership, and a deep commitment to the success and well-being of student-athletes.

Throughout his career, Coach Wengert has demonstrated a dedication to fostering excellence, integrity, and sportsmanship both on and off the field. In this new role, he will oversee all aspects of our athletic programs, with a focus on continued growth, competitive success, and the development of our student-athletes as leaders.

We are confident that Coach Wengert's vision and expertise will have a lasting positive impact on our athletic community. Coach will continue to lead our softball team as well, where there has been unprecedented and sustained success under his leadership.  

"I am extremely excitied and humbled by the opportunity that has been given to me here at SCC.  I cannot thank President Dr. Kavalier,  Executive Vice President Mr. Galbierz, Provost Mrs. Koehler and all the other cabinet members for showing the confidence in me to lead this great department.  It is my hope and focus to lead this department to new heights and sustain a level of atheltic success that everyone on campus and within our St. Charles community can be proud of."

Dustin assumed is duties this spring semester, while covering the duties in the fall.  We are excitied and cannot wait to see where Dustin leads the SCC Cougars.  Coach Wengert is married (Regan) and they have four boys Oliver (13), Louis (10), Leo (4) and Archie (2).
