SCC Baseball Week Recap

Baseball had a full week of games, playing multiple series and a total of six games.

To start, the Cougars invited Rend Lake for a single game at home on Tuesday, April 7th. SCC had a rocky start to the game, allowing Rend Lake ten runs in the first inning, which led to a loss. Despite that, the team still managed eight runs and seven hits. Nick Alagna, Chance Greene, Bo Cooper, Brady Kilker, Landon Young, and Jonathon Frey (2) all had hits in the game. Jonathan Frey led in runs and RBIs with three, two of his hits being home runs. The team rotated pitchers, having nine different pitchers in the game.

Next, SCC Baseball travelled to Neosho, MO, for a four-game series with Crowder College April 9th through the 11th. Despite a couple of close games, the weekend ended with all losses for St. Charles, ending 0-4 in the series.
